My first Blog

Hello!
Im starting this blog to mainly showcase some projects that I work on and finish. Here is a list of Craft type things that I like to do: Scrapbooking, Embroidery, Knitting, Sewing, and taking pictures. I have taken some sewing classes but I mainly just follow patterns. Im definately nothing to brag about :)
I was introduced to embroidery by my friend Alida Wolf. She mainly embroiders onsies with babies names on them for friends, hopital patients, and for her girls (Katelyn Isabelle(3) and Danielle Grace(8)). She was the one also responsible for getting me addicted to scrapbooking. I love her to death.
I have many people in my life that I point responsible for my recent explosion of creative and craftiness. My brother Milo taught me to knit when he was I think 8. He was the best teacher one could ask for. He was a patient teacher and I think proud once I took off knitting on my own. Of course to this day I can only knit scarves or squares but oh well! My step mom Christa is also an inspiration to me. She pulls off all these beautiful projects and over the past year has introduced me to all these amazing artists and blog sites that kick started my recent projects.

Anyways a little note about myself: I am 20 years old. I have a one year old daughter named Violet Rae and I live in Spokane with Violets dad Steve. I work as a caregiver in an assisted living center and I really want to go to nursing school in the near future. Violet is the craziest, scariest, and best adventure of my life. She keeps me on my toes, running around, and driven mad!
